Our story

Pierre Orgle Holdings, a limited liability company, was established as a science research and clean energy technology holding company in the year 2000 under a private sector initiative spearheaded by the US Chamber of Commerce, Federation of West African Chambers of Commerce and Industry, the Africa Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the West Africa-America Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Association of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry and Confederation of Asia–Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry. In the early 2000’s, foreign and state-owned science research and clean energy technology companies in West Africa dominated the science research and clean energy technology industry in West Africa. Science research and clean energy technology industries in West Africa owned and managed by the African private sector were a rarity. Its founder and president created Friction Antidote Transnational, Regenerative Off-Grid Energy Systems And Solutions and Pronto Logistics with the objective of filling this vacuum.

From the inception of Pierre Orgle Holdings with the group making up of three companies ie. Friction Antidote Transnational, Regenerative Off-Grid Energy Systems And Solutions and Pronto Logistics’ ethos embraced a commitment to enhance scientific research across sub-Sahara Africa.

The pieces of an early Pierre Orgle Holdings concept began to fall into place. Members at the meeting began to debate the idea of a private sector science, research and clean energy technology industry that would help facilitate trade in the sub-region. The next landmark date for Friction Antidote Transnational, Regenerative Off-Grid Energy Systems And Solutions and Pronto Logistics was the Friday, 1^st December 2000, when an agreement was reached with the members for the Holding company to be based in Ghana.

While the early 2000’s were years of relative political stability across a significant number of sub-Saharan African countries, Pierre Orgle Holdings commissioned subsidiaries in three African states within three years of its establishment between 2001 and 2004. A second wave of expansion followed from 2007 to 2010, when the Group’s coverage increased from three to six continents.

It would have been difficult to predict in the early days that the group would be running over 1,150 branches within 22 years and be widely acclaimed as the leading pan-African science research and clean energy technology company. By 2015, its consolidated balance sheet crossed the US$2 billion mark for the first time, and today Pierre Orgle Holdings subsidiary offices serve over 9 million customers.

Pierre Orgle Holdings has not only become a world-class conglomerate, it is also a torchbearer for a new Africa. The group of companies has become part of the mainstream science research and clean energy technology company and logistics hub in 36 sub-Sahara African countries, and the Pierre Orgle Holdings brand has become a dominant expression of science research, clean energy technology and logistics benefits for millions of people.
